These two were so adorable! They are naturally drawn to each other and you could feel love and joy between them! Again – I had a tough time choosing what to show for this sneak peek! But, I fought through the struggle and decided on 5 instead of 2 or 3. Thank you so much for letting me be apart of such wonderful moments!
This was my largest group ever! The parents were great, the kids were great, the weather was great! Well, maybe a little too great! The best weather for location sessions includes a little bit of clouds. This helps to keep away from harsh shadows and squinting eyes. This particular day was blue skies! We found a nice tree and shady area at Fort Casey and as the sun moved, we moved!
I will be honest, I was a little nervous. But, thank you so much for giving me a shot at this! It was a great experience and yes, I would be willing to do it again! I still can’t believe we got all that done within an hour and a half!

Another sneak peek that’s super duper early by special request. As everyone knows, sneak peeks are only posted a few days before the entire set of proofs are released. But sometimes, under special circumstances, I post a sneak peek early. And I was feeling good today – so much better than the last two days. Mommy (“E”) asked for a sneak peek before Grammy left this Sunday. And since I am feeling well, I stayed up and picked a few out to show. What’s funny is that it was after this session that I started feeling ucky. I mean, normally, I am a little tired after a session. But this time, I was exhausted like never before. I picked up my kids from the babysitter, got them in their baths, pj’s and put them straight to bed. Then I was in bed too. So glad I got sick after the session and not during!
Anyway, sessions with the “P” family are always fun! And this session was no exception. This time, instead of just photographing the kids, we got Mom, Dad & Grammy too! Little “L” was displaying the normal rebellious 2 year old spunk, but she’s always a joy no matter what! Thanks again for choosing me!

Beautiful family!
Most of you know, I was already a little behind in the beginning of May. I recently caught up and then was hit with the flu. I have been unable to work since the little energy I’ve had left has been used up with taking care of my kids. My husband is currently on deployment and so I have had to slow down quite a bit.
Then once this illness hit me, it’s been even tougher. I am resting a lot which has helped tremendously. Of course, that means that I have not been able to work on proofs and/or orders. If two weeks has passed from your session date, I am very sorry. Please do know that you are important to me and as soon as I feel better, I will get right back on track and get your proofs released.
If you have recently placed an order, please watch for emails with current status updates of that order. I will do my best to get them all ordered & in your hands within a timely manner. As always, family sessions with little ones is quite an adventure. All three kids did great for the first few group shots, then we began to lose interest from the youngest two. But eventually, with a few little breaks and playing, we were able to get what wanted! Thanks for the great session!
