School Portrait Mini Sessions, brought to you by Renee Giugliano Photography, Oak Harbor, WA Photographer specializing in Pregnancy, Newborn & Children

These sessions are available for all students, from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Public, private and homeschool students are welcome! They include traditional and non-traditional poses to show off your child’s personality and individuality. And now, we are offering group images for siblings and/or best friends.

We help you prepare for your session by providing clothing suggestions. At your child’s session, we make it fun and relaxing so their true smiles are captured!

Session Details:

5-10 minute in-studio session per student
$5.00 (plus tax) per student. Families of 4 or more will not pay more than $15.00 (plus tax)
Includes traditional headshot and 3 more poses
NEW – 1 group image for siblings or friends* (optional)
High School seniors – we will send an image of your choice for the yearbook
Print and digital packages available
No obligation to purchase. Interest-free payment plans available for orders over $150.00

One child allowed per time slot.
Schedule all siblings/friends sessions back to back to guarantee time for group image
There are no clothing changes allowed within the session. If you do want a second outfit, you will need to schedule another appointment.

One student per time slot, no sibling/group images allowed. All minors MUST be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. No exceptions. An invoice will be sent via email to pay the session fee. You may also opt to pay over the phone with a credit card if you prefer.

All proofs will be available online within 2-4 weeks to view and order.

Tea Party Mini Session

It’s been quiet over here… well, photography-wise, that is. I left on my vacation, got back and then the vacation continued. I left a hot, sunny California and came back to a hot, sunny Washington. Before I left, I had these mini sessions set up. But the date chosen called for rain and so I rescheduled them to August. I failed to realize that there were literally 3 different events on the weekend I chose to have these. Because of that along with the weather and summer vacations, we only had one participant. So it looks like I will definitely be going back to offering these in the spring like I have done in the past.

For the one adorable little girl we had, we traded a cool evening back in July for a day that hit 85 degrees in August. It was HOT. Luckily for us, it began to cool down a bit and there was a slight breeze as our session began. Little “I” was not fazed one bit. She was all smalls and giggles. She brought her best friend (the monkey) with her. I have photographed her multiple times when she was a toddler and that monkey was always there. It was so neat to see her bring it along for this session. We put her (the monkey) in a high chair right next to her and “I” enjoyed pouring her a drink and letting her take sips.

Because she was my only participant, we decided to get away from the set and head to a nearby barn and field for some more variety and fun. I am so glad we did that! I am definitely going to add on these extra spots for the spring sessions as well. Thank you to the Hummingbird Farm Nursery and Gardens for allowing us to use their garden and to Michelle at The Curly Girly Boutique for helping with set up and reflector work.

New Career, New You – Headshots Session

Ms. K. is starting a new career. She is stepping out and going for something new, which as we all know can be a little intimidating. She did a quick search, found me and contacted me to see if I could get her in as soon as possible. I only had one day available, but it was perfect for both of. Like me, Ms. K. is a little camera shy. But as we began to talk, our conversation soon turned into laughter. I truly enjoyed watching her go from nervous to just enjoying the moment.

Tea Party Mini Sessions

Get your little ones dress in their best and let them enjoy tea-time! Great for siblings and best friends – young and old!* We keep the set simple, yet fun! Your children can bring their hats, scarves, and favorite stuffed animal(s).

Boys LOVE to play too, don’t forget their cute little hats and ties!

Set provided has faux (fake) treats. But we will have real treats that your child may take home to enjoy. Please let us know of any allergies or diet restrictions.

Session Includes:

15-20 minute mini-session
up to 3 children suggested (can fit more if needed)
group & individual poses
10+ proofs to choose from
online gallery for viewing and ordering
Mini print/digital packages

*Suggested ages, 6 months to 12 yrs old.

Session Fees: You choose which one works best for you!

Basic ~ $35 (plus tax): Session only, prints/photo products sold separately. No minimum order requirement.
Print Collection ~ $75 plus tax: 1- 8×10, 2- 5×7’s and 1 set of wallets (8) of you choice. You may mix and match all images with exception to the wallets since they come in a set of 8.
Digital Session [Mini] ~ $85 (plus tax): 5 High Resolution Digital Images (of your choice) with print release PLUS 10% off any additional purchase.
Digital Session [Large] ~ $125 (plus tax): 10 High Resolution Digital Images (of your choice) with print release PLUS 10% off any additional purchase.

Full of Smiles – Newborn Session

At almost 2 months old, this little one slept like a newborn. And when she was awake, she was bright eyed and full of smiles. Because she was just under 2 months old, she wanted to do a lot of stretching, so we took a few with her first outfit and then changed her to get her wrapped up. She was quite cozy and didn’t mind that she wasn’t able to stretch those feet and arms. She ended up falling back asleep again. We then began to unwrap and she just went with it.

Thanks mom and dad for choosing me! She’s so beautiful and it was a pleasure to be able to provide these images for you!
