    After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

    Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

    If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

A Visit from Hawaii!

The last time we saw little “K”, she was a newborn. And I was more than honored and excited to hear that mom came back here to Oak Harbor specifically to have me take her 1st Birthday portraits! We were unsure how she would do with all travel she had gone through. She was only in WA  for a few days and had be pretty overwhelmed with new faces and places. She had traveled from Seattle the morning of her session and so, it took a little time of sitting, talking and playing & sharing crackers before we got into action. And once she was comfortable, she did great! Thank you mommy for taking time to visit me! She is so sweet and beautiful!

Little “H”, 9 Months Old

Little “H” was a sweety-pie. But her session didn’t last long unfortunately. She was all smiles for the first 15 shots and then I brought out my little couch, and she was not happy after that. But we were able to get her smiling for a few in a cute little knit hat. We tried giving her a break and changing her clothes, but by that time, she was ready for nap. But we were still able to get some beautiful images of her through all that. And she left happy in mommy’s arms. In the end – that’s all that counts!

Another Pair of Beautiful Sisters!

These two young ladies were quite shy at first, which is very common. But as always, I do my best to make the session a “no pressure” environment with jokes and silly things. And so, as time went along, they laughed and began to enjoy themselves. And they did great as you can see! They were pro’s by the end – and I loved working with them! And can we say, “flawless skin”?!?! I’m so jealous! Of course, once again I was torn by which images to choose for this sneak peek. But I finally narrowed it down to about six favorites! So much for sneak peeks being 2 or 3 images only lately, huh? More for everyone to enjoy, right? Thanks ladies for the great session!

Just Had To Share This Whimsical :)

This image came from a recent family session, in which mom had requested that this image be made into a Whimsical. I spent a few hours working on it and then was ready to call it quits for the night. But, I couldn’t stop working on it. I was very enthusiastic and full of energy so I kept working away -adjusting, adding, removing, changing and so on. All my Whimsical’s usually have a quote or text of some kind and so the search for just the right words took some time also. Finally, at about 2am, I finished. I added it to mom’s proof gallery and waited to hear what she thought. She loved it too and immediately added it to her order. So, I just had to share this with everyone else!
