Contest #1 Results – Recommendation on King 5 Best of Western Washington Site

I have 3 contests going on. Well, this 1st one just ended. The 2nd one is currently active and the 3rd will be up soon. (More info on these below) I truly enjoy what I do and I know times are hard for everyone. So, this is my way of THANK YOU to new clients, current clients and past clients!

So, back to the first contest; which was a review/star rating contest on King 5’s website. I was nominated for Best Photographer in the Best of Western Washington for 2010. Thank you to all who voted! I was up against SO MANY talented photographers, so many that are so much more popular than I. So, I probably won’t win, but it was great to just be nominated among them!

The contest was for those clients who left a recommendation (review/star rating) on the site under my nomination page. So I number each entry, starting at the bottom since that’s who posted first and then made my way up. I had 10 recommendations. Here’s they are with their drawing numbers:

We changed up our annual fundraiser for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep from “Fall Quickies” to a “Halloween Spooktacular” – putting more emphasis on costumes. We designed a new set with spiders, tombstones and webs and waited for the ghouls and boys to come. But wait, where are the boys? As I started going through the images I realized there were NO BOYS! But no worries moms and dads, you still have time to get your little guys portraits taken! This set is being offered one more time, on October 16th! Along with our fundraising, we are also going a costume contest for all those who have participated. The images below are not the final costume entries. I will be working with the parents of these cuties to decide on the official image. Because we added October 16th, we will start the voting on October 23rd. More info will be posted as we get closer! For now, enjoy this sneak peek! I fell in love with so many of these cuties!

And The Cake Goes Everywhere!

The last time we saw Little “K”, he was just a few weeks old at his newborn session. Well, he’s no longer a quietly sleeping little baby! He was walking, running, crawling, rolling (you name it – he was doing it) ONE YEAR OLD!! But mommy easily kept up with him! “K” was all smiles and so fun to watch as he would come and go. When it came time for cake, he went right for it! He dug in a little and then out of no where – lost interest. Then mom knew what he wanted: a fork! Yep, once he had that, the cake was not only in his mouth, but everywhere else! He held tightly to that fork as he waved it around and cake was tossed around. We didn’t have to duck for cover too much. He had a ball! There were so many images I would love to share, but the best will be saved for K’s family! Thanks for making my morning so much fun and extra THANKS to mom who even stayed a little longer and helped me clean up!

**This set is not just for kids! All ages are welcome! Adults can show their “childhood spirit” by dressing up in their pj’s too!**

November 5th & 6th only – limited availability!

30 minute session – Up to 3 persons (add $10 for each additional person, which is returned as a print credit)
Group & individual portraits
1 – 11×14 of your choice (OR 2- 8×10’s)
25 Holiday Cards (5×7 flat cards with envelopes)
