  • We are Permanently Closed

After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

Thank you for trusting me with your family portraits since 2006. I loved working with you all.

Cake – Better Than Playdough!

Baby “A” was such a social little gal! She really didn’t say too much, but her little personality shined through those eyes! She was quite busy as she would explore, get shy, give hugs & then get shy again. She was quite elegant as she poked at her cake and took such tiny bites. We had to encourage her to take bites since she was having more fun taking it apart, squishing it in her hands and stomping on the pieces that she had chucked onto the floor. Her feet got the most color from her red velvet cake. Thank you mommy for choosing me! And thank you for your patience while I took that week off to prepare for my Holland Happening participation. Here she is! 🙂

Another 1st Birthday Celebration

…which of course, is one of my favorites. 🙂 Well, some of you may recognize that pretty mama in the first photo. She is the owner of the new Salon Lux on Pioneer. We’ve known each other for about 5 years now and she is fabulous, as a hairstylist and friend! She brought in little “A” who was very social and ready to get into that cake! Her big brothers were great helpers with making her smile and laugh. I had a tough time choosing favorites (as usual), but here she is!

Boys, Buddies, Brothers

These little guys reminded me of my boys. They had their moments when being next to each other was cool, then a few minutes later, they wanted nothing to do with each other. And just like the average “sibling” session, once they were in front of the camera by themselves – they SHINED! Their personalities came out, they laughed at mom and dad, laughed, played, smiled and had a great time! I can’t wait to work with them again! They are adorable!

Pamela Litton-Andrade - I really like the picture of Parker and Preston together where Parker is looking at Preston. The pictures of Preston on the stool and the boys lying next to each other are precious.

M Perez - I love the pic of them laying down next to eachother & my other favorite is of the older boy on the stool…GREAT PIC!!!

Little Miss “M” – 3 months old

Beautiful little “M” is now on the Inch By Inch [Baby’s 1st Year] plan. Mom signed her up a few weeks after her newborn session. I almost wasn’t able to fit her in, but due to some school schedule changes, an extra slot opened up! YAY! I am so excited to be able to watch her grow and be a part of her 1st year!

For the 1st half of the session, she was all smiles. But being a supermodel is hard work, and as time went on, she was very tired and ready to call it quits. So, we did. And once she was snuggled up in her car seat, she was much more happy and relaxed. Overall though, she was a trooper while we moved her here and there to capture her charming personality in between trying to eat everything that touched her little chin. 🙂 I can’t wait to see her again in a few months.

She’s back… and she’s ONE!

Little “A” was pure joy! The last time I saw her, she was a newborn, about 12 days old. And just like her newborn session, during this 1st birthday celebration, she was so happy and ready to show just how adorably cute she was! She had 3 yummy cupcakes to dig into as her birthday treats. It looked like she enjoyed the frosting more than the cake part of it. But either way, this session was smooth and easy!  Thank you mom and dad for choosing me again and for all the help with the funny faces & sounds. 🙂
