1st Birthday at Bowman Bay

Forgive me for being a little behind. This month has been full of personal family activities that I had little time to work. But I am catching up now as things begin to slow down a little.

The last time we saw Little C was about 4 months ago for his very first session with me. For his 1st birthday, mom wanted to take it outside, cake and all. So, we headed to Bowman Bay and went for it. He was full of energy and maybe a little overwhelmed with the gorgeous scenery. He wasn’t sure whether he should sit and watch or run and play. He did wonderful though, kept his cake on the little blanket and was very patient with us as we moved him around here and there.

You may have seen the first image on my Facebook Business Page. I posted a different version there. I love both of them, but thought I would show the color one here. Mom wanted to try to make this image happen since his 8th month session. The sparkle in his eyes say so much! 🙂 Happy Birthday again! Oh and soon, he will be a big brother to twins! Mommy & Daddy announced a few days later that they are expecting twins on Valentine’s Day of 2012! Congratulations!

Traci Wagner - LOVE these! You’ve done it again Renee! 🙂 Perfect!

Melissa Rieke Photography - Love the first shot. Life just looks perfect!! Beautiful image. They should get it BIG BIG BIG!!

Keeping Me On My Toes

We’ve had this pregnancy session scheduled since mama was about 3 months along. As we got closer to the date, we were all getting a little jumpy since mama’s doctor was thinking he would come early. So, we were going back and forth on whether or not to have mama come in earlier or not. Waiting to hear how every appointment went as she got closer, and wondering if we would have time for the pregnancy session. Well, as it turns out, we kept our original date and her baby boy was born the very next Friday; which was about 2 weeks earlier than scheduled. I was able to get one image out on facecbook for them. And this morning, we did his newborn session. So, even though I feel like I am so behind with getting this sneak peek out, I’m really right on time.

Mama was swelling a little bit at the session, but still gorgeous and glowing! I made sure she sat down, put her feet and had some cool water to relax with. My fan also helped out too. Proud big sister N was thrilled to dress up along mama while she hugged her brother in mama’s belly and shared all his little giraffes (stuffed animals) with me. It was a wonderful session. I fell in love with the images on the blue blackdrop. So glad she was willing to let me try out a new color. 😀 Thanks again for the great session and congratulations!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Little T has been coming in every 3 months since she was born. We have spent a fun year together! I looked back at her other sessions and can’t believe how fast that time went! Her 1st birthday session started out a little shy as usual. We started with the same couch and backdrop we used from her last few sessions. She was up and down and moving all over, so we then quickly changed props and gave her something new to explore. That’s when she really began to become much more playful and giggly. After that, we took a break to get her changed into a tutu I had on hand (made locally by Custom TuTu’s for Tots). Mom requested a yellow backdrop and so we made the 2nd half of the session bright and fun! I shared a early sneak peek picture on my Facebook page HERE. We added really cool balloons and then a colorful cake! I had to show a picture of how the cake looked in the beginning, so you could really see how she completely smashed it up more than expected! It disappeared… At the end she was having so much fun, she was slipping and sliding and occasionally talking with her mouth full. It’s been a wonderful year! Happy Birthday!
