    After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

    Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

    If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

We Finally Did It!

This family is part of my church family. And we’ve been trying to schedule this session for almost 2 years! We finally got it done! Being a military family, their schedule was not meshing well with mine. Deployments, vacations and of course, weather interfered. But, we were able to set a date and KEEP it!

We kept the family all together through out the session – with the exception of a few of mom and dad together. While at the beach, we had a gorgeous sunset, salmon jumping out of the water and well, bugs flying all around us  & into us! It was like they were doing it on purpose! We swatted, we ducked, we ran a few times… it was quite the adventure. We even discovered bites on our arms and legs the next day -ouch! But it was all worth it! Thank you for fun. We will miss you when it’s time to go to your new duty station!

Baby L – 3 Months Old

Baby L is on the Inch By Inch (Baby’s 1st Year) plan, just like his older sister was. (She just graduated in June, you can see her 1st birthday session HERE) Baby L has colic, and so this session was pretty short – but very sweet! We let him take extra breaks so we could play with him and get him relaxed. And it worked wonderfully. We were able to get him not only  relaxed and smiling, but we caught him laughing and giving the most adorable expressions! I look forward to watching him grow! See you again soon!

9 Month Old Baby G

Oh, how quickly time flies! Wasn’t she 3 months old just a few weeks ago? And I hear that she’s walking now! Oh boy – she was already crawling away so quickly here at this session… her 1st birthday session is going to be a blast! We started this session with the the same backdrop as her previous sessions. And then I decided to play around with a new backdrop and prop set. She wasn’t quite sure about the hat. In fact, we had to keep her little fingers busy while daddy put the hat back on over and over again. With a little bit of patience and distraction, we got some cute images of our little flower-girl! We’ll see her again in November for her 1st birthday session! I can’t wait! 🙂

They Keep Growing…

I’ve known this family for a long time… when there was only 1 little girl. And now, look at how adorable her little brothers are! They came in ready to smile and have a good time just as they always have. I see them all the time outside of work, but once a year they get to show me those sparkling personalities through the camera! The youngest of the clan is 6 months old and this was his professional portrait debut! He was pure joy to work with! Mom has been so excited for these, so I’m gonna skip all the small talk and get the rest of the sneak peek!

Welcome Baby L!

Baby L & I share the same birthday! Yep, she was born on July 29th, which is my birthday too! So, she is extra special! Her mommy was well prepared for her little girl to arrive. Like her mommy’s pregnancy session, we had lots of PINK ready. She was so small, that some things were just a little too big for her. But we were able to incorporate as much pink as we could through out the session. 😀 And she is so adorable! She was already so strong and so alert. Her session seemed like it went by so quickly. She woke up for part of it and wasn’t fond of not being held, so we made sure to have mommy snuggle her. She then fell back to sleep and we were able to get a few more props and poses. And we made sure to get that lily in one of the images just like her mom did in her pregnancy session. You can see that image HERE on the Facebook page. We’ll be seeing little L again in a few months for her 3 month session! Can’t wait to see her again! Congratulations! She’s gorgeous!
