Navy Princesses [OpLove]

This session was special, because it’s all for daddy! Daddy is currently on deployment and these were taken as part of OpLove‘s mission to boost morale and bring a little bit of “home” to them. These ladies were wonderful. We kept the session simple, yet lots of fun. And you know you did a good job when they kids don’t want to leave. The older sister wanted to stay and play with me and my toys (my kids toys). She was so sweet! I felt bad to have to tell her that she had to go home with mommy. But mom did a great job distracting her with a trip to Baskin Robbins. Yummm… who wouldn’t say “yes” to ice cream!? No me! I hope to see you all again soon! And I pray for your husband’s safety while he is away and may his journey back home to be quick!

Another Baby Plan Graduate!

I have been photographing Baby M since she was in her mommy’s tummy. It’s been a fun year and it went by so quickly! She’s such a doll and I will miss seeing her every 3 months. Her 1st birthday session went perfectly. She wasn’t walking just yet, so she was a busy little crawler. We were able to keep her still with a little bit of peek-a-boo, some singing and dancing. And she LOVED her cake. She had some practice a few days before and was ready to go once we set her down and let her go. After a little nudging from her dad, she quickly learned that she didn’t need hands to eat and she was diving in over and over again. We all just sat back and watched her go! Happy 1st Birthday Baby M! It has been a wonderful year. I enjoyed every moment with you and your family! Come back again soon!

Last Session of the Year!

And it was PERFECT! We first laid eyes on this beauty when she was just a newborn. And now she is 6 months old! And the way to make her giggle, was to make her dance! I provided a beat with a toy and she swayed and bounced! She was in such a great mood that we tried on a few different outfits and the only outfit she wasn’t thrilled with was the tutu. I pretty much counted on her not caring for it. Something about the texture of the tulle. But as always, with a few tricks, we got her smiling again! Thank you Mommy for a wonderful session! It was perfect to end the year with! And extra thanks for your patience while I dealt with the holiday portrait madness!

6 Month Old “L”

I last saw little L at my Cozy Christmas Mini Sessions. He looked different to me since his 3 month old session and I didn’t figure out what it was until he came in a few days later for this 6 month session. It was his HAIR! He had got a hair cut! Oh, he looks so much older now! I mean, his is still a little guy, but very different with his short do! He was a little shy during this time. He clung to mom through out most of the session. But as always, patience and a little love got us the perfect portraits! Can’t wait to see him again in a few more months!
