Baby C was born on May 2nd, a little earlier than planned. I thought I would get these out before his arrival, but nope! He couldn’t wait! So, until he comes in for his portrait debut, here are his proud mommy and daddy! Baby C’s room is decorated in camouflage, a small influence from daddy. 😉 So, we were sure to add in the camo detail into the session and will also add it to his newborn session as well. I’ve been photographing this growing family for a few years now. They first found me in 2011 when they were expecting their 2nd little girl. And since then, I have been photographing milestones and birthdays for both girls. Being a Navy family, they received new orders and it was time to move from Oak Harbor. So, this session was our last together. I will miss them so much and am so sad that I will not be able to meet the newest family member when she arrives. But I am so grateful for the internet, email and Facebook. We get to still chat, share pictures and be apart of each other’s lives! Congratulations again and THANK YOU so much for allowing me to capture two years of moments & memories! Hope to meet up again one day soon!

Being part of my Inch by Inch (Baby’s 1st Year) Baby Plan has some perks. Baby Plan clients have the option of using the current Limited Edition session sets as part of their plan. We used the recent Spring Garden set for M’s first set of portraits. He was a little unsure of it all at first. We thought he was beginning to express his frustration or maybe was uncomfortable when we heard a few grunts and grumbles. But as we let him do that without interrupting him, we soon realized that he was “talking”. After his grunts, a big grin would follow. So, we just sat back and conversed with grunts and grumbles, waited for the smiles and then got the shot! We then gave him a little break to change and he was ready to go. He was laughing and playing, moving here and there…. he was having a ball! And he looked so cute in his “Locally Grown” onesie with matching hat & tie; which was provided by The Curly Girly Boutique. Can’t wait for that 1st birthday session! Just a few more months! See you again soon M!

Spring is here! Bring on the bright gorgeous flowers and well, the rain. We’ve had a lot of rain over here on Whidbey Island. And on the days that I did this session, was no exception. It was raining pretty good. But this adorable little guy came in with his knitted chick hat & diaper set and matched so perfectly to our Spring Garden set that I forgot all about the rain outside! And although he only gave us a few little grins, he had that curious sparkle in his eyes which made his expressions so much more mesmerizing! SO CUTE!
