Another Farewell – Family Session

Ugh, it never gets easy living in a military town. Being a part of the military ourselves, we’ve been blessed to have been able to have live here for quite a few years. But that is not the case for everyone. And once again, another favorite family is moving on. I am thankful that I am able to build such wonderful relationships with my clients. I get close to the parents and the kids and it’s always tough to say goodbye at the end of the session, especially when you know it’s the last. I have watched these little ones grow from shy & quiet to social & non-stop talkers. It’s an amazing thing to get hugs and love from these precious children. It’s something I do not take for granted and brings tears to my eyes when I remember their first session, their second session and so on. THANK YOU Trimm family for trusting me, for coming to me time and time again to capture all the precious moments in your family’s time here in Oak Harbor. I will make sure to help you find an awesome photographer in your new location so that you can continue to showcase your memories and moments. Not So Hungry Caterpillar – 1st Birthday Session

The last time we saw little M, he was about 4 months old. It was back in the Spring. At that time, he was just getting used to being on his tummy. He was a little shy, but still so cute! And 8 months later, he is full of curiosity and pretty much getting ready to sprint! He is such a charmer with those captivating eyes and that smile! His theme was The Hungry Caterpillar so I had a pennant made of The Hungry Caterpillar fabric and made sure to add in colorful balloons. He wasn’t so hungry when it came to his cake though. He dabbed into the frosting but never really dove in. That’s ok, there is plenty of time to make a mess while eating at home. 😉 Thank you so much mom and dad for choosing me!
