Nine Month Old “K” – Baby Planner

Another baby planner this month… LOVE IT! Amazing to see some many different personalities change before me! At her six month session she was all smiles and so very social. This time, she got a little shy again. It was the norm this month. I think since at this age, they become familiar with faces & places that she may have had a bit of uncertainty going on. Most likely she was unsure if mom was staying or going. Of course mom stayed and little K crawled away now and then to be reassured by mom that she was doing good. So we have a mix of serious looks and gorgeous smiles! She’s causing along furniture but not quite walking yet. I have a feeling she will be a speed walker (or runner) at her 1st year session. We’ll see her again soon!

Moving Right Along – 9 Month Baby Planner

He was taking a few steps during the session. Not quite ready to walk, but he’s getting there. For some reason, all the kids we shy this month. So, we had a lot of serious expressions. Well, maybe they were more like “what you doing crazy lady with the camera?” I will say, that once little “P” was the only one having is pictures taken, he did come out of his shell a bit. I did get some laughs and big grins. Guess he just wanted all the attention, which I had no problem giving him. One more session to go for him. I’m hoping he doesn’t get too shy with the cake. We shall see then!

He’s Got Blond Curls! – Baby Planner 9 Month Session

When he came through the door, the first thing I noticed was all his curls! Woah! Where did those come from? And he is getting blonder and blonder. He definitely knows that he has a little independence. He was a little shy again this time, but as the session went on, he was getting into it. Playing with the props and of course, speeding away as he crawled. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for us at his 1st birthday session! See you again in the new year! This session was mainly a 3 month session for baby “C”. But when mom asked if she could bring older sister “G”, I was more than happy to have her! You see, I photographed big sisters first year portraits as well. We even used the same backdrop and clothing style as before. So I was super excited to have her back in since she is such a sweetheart and we are “curly hair” sisters. 😉 Both girls are not only so adorable, but they are social and full of personality. They were pure joy to work with! Mom mentioned they will be moving mid-spring next year. But we have them on the schedule for the 6 month session in February and maybe one more session right before they leave. 1st Birthday Session – Baby Plan Graduate

What?! It’s been a year already? Wow, time has gone by so fast! And this little guy is now 1 year old! He was walking, smiling and of course busy checking everything out. His family joined in once again and helped keep him staying in one play. Well, they tried at least. There was no cake, but he loved the balloons! He had us on the edge as he rubbed them over and over again. He laughed while we all cringed hoping that the balloon did not pop. And it didn’t. Thank you for choosing me to capture his first year!
