I have thoroughly enjoyed my break. I definitely needed it. It was hard to have to say “no” to taking in sessions, but it was the best thing at the time. Now I didn’t plan on opening again until after the new year. But I had did one quick 30 minute pregnancy session for a friend because I wanted to photograph a gown I had not used. Well, that little session gave me the an itch! It got me excited to wrk again. With that, ideas stuck & plans were thought about. Because of those plans and ideas, I need to open up again in order to get back the income needed to help with the final outcome (if it goes according to plan).

What’s being planned? Studio space that will not be in my house. Yep, we are planning to rent a small space out in town so that I can separate business and family. I have acquired quite a bit of equipment and props throughout the years and it’s beginning to take over a little too much. I already have a storage space, but I think it’s time to get my home back now. Our family has changed, my kids are getting older and busier and it has begun to get more difficult to divide the space and time.

But I am not going at this alone, I will be sharing a space with a close friend. Because we are going in on this together, there are many aspects of it that need to be written out, thought out, situated and so on. We want to make sure this is good for both of us, that we are realistic with projections and that our families are not thrown on the back burner before, during or after. Your thoughts, prayers and good vibes as we go through this process are greatly appreciated. 🙂 This will take a few months, but we are excited about the possibilities.

As for me & my schedule, here’s what I know: I will STILL be limited. I have a son is starting high school (eek!) and is involved in the NJROTC, my husband is transferring jobs and I am still a coach for Broad View Elementary School’s Flag Team. So we have a world of change happening this fall. Until we are settled and in a rhythm with events and schedules, I cannot commit to evenings or weekends at this time.

Here’s what I know so far:

• I will be available for sessions Monday through Friday only
• Sessions will be available to begin between 9:30am and 1:00pm only
• On-location sessions may be available depending on the weather (fall is coming, wind and rain on the way)
• Limited Edition Sessions (Seasonal) may be available, but there are no guarantees at this time
• Baby Planners: I will be available to take in baby planners.

My official date to reopen is September 21st. That’s when you can call and/or write to set up a session for that month or the months to come. Remember, I have limited space available. I am planning to take in 2-3 sessions per week to start off.

• Pregnancy and/or Newborn Sessions: Call to schedule at least 2 months prior to your due date. I may not be able to fit you into my September schedule, October may be doable though.

My schedule always filled up quickly, about 2-3 months ahead or even more. I honestly don’t know how quickly it will fill up this time since I have been out of the loop for a while. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
