    After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

    Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

    If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

Giving Back… In Memory of Christopher

“The Artist” page on my main site gives you the ability to get to know me better before you walk into my door. And within that page, you learn of my eldest son, Christopher. He was still born on Oct. 19, ’99. Our loss was devastating but also a life-changing event for my husband & I, as individuals and as a couple.

Since starting my business is 2006, I have learned of an amazing foundation called “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.” It is specifically a network of volunteer photographers serving families with a sensitive, yet cherishing infant remembrance session. You can learn more about this foundation here.

I immediately wanted to join when I first heard of this but had to wait. My family was not ready- I was not ready. But now, as we are coming to our 9th year without our son, I feel it is time to stop holding back, and time to give back.

So, in memory of our son, I am now a volunteer photographer of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. I know these sessions will be difficult – I will probably share in the grieving. But as a mother who has been through this, I know there is hope and I want to share that also.

Special thanks to my family, in which we know these sessions will be held dear to our hearts. We truly believe this is more than a service, it’s a ministry.

Gracie-your mom - Oh my Little Girl and Louie, I know the Lord will use you both in His ministry. We go throughout life not understanding why, but God knows why. And then He turns and uses the hurts and pains we go throught to touch the life of a mother and father’s empty hands. I know our grandson Christopher is in Heaven waiting for us all to be with him and Jesus Christ. I will be praying for you both. Love you, Mom

Hey you Californians!

Ok, the call to go to California has been heard. Not just from family, but friends, neighbors & co-workers of family. So, for right now, we are gathering the amount of interest. I know the holidays are coming, so we’re unsure about what time of the year would work best for everyone over there.

Not familiar with my work? Visit my website HERE. I specialize in maternity and children from newborns to teens. But I do a variety, so that includes high school seniors & families as well.

So for right now, here is what is in the works…

Basic Info

  • We would need a minimum of 10 sessions to pay for just the gas to get there and back. Each session would be charged my “on-location” fee of $75. The fee will be paid prior to us leaving Washington. Fee is non-refundable.
  • There will be 2-3 sessions done on one day – depending on the participants. (Babies/Toddlers take longer). Times slots will be posted and then filled on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Hosts may be needed to provide an central area for sessions to be done. Right now, my parent’s home in Corona is the main area. If you would like to host sessions (1 day) in your home, please let me know and I will send you size requirements/needs.
  • Proofs will not be available until after I return home, may take up to 4 weeks
  • All orders will be shipped using the rates given within your online proof album. I use UPS 2nd Day Air, includes insurance on your portraits.
Session Includes:
  • Up to 5 people, $5 for each additional person
  • 1.5 hours of session time. Option to add time for $5 for each 30 minutes, due at the end of the session.
  • Multiple clothing/backdrop changes as time allows
  • Fee covers time & talent only. Prints/products will be billed separately
Dividing a Session -Invite a friend to split the fee & time
  • $32.50 each, with 45 minutes each session (totaling 1.5 hours all together)
  • Best for 1-2 children per session
  • One clothing change & maybe one backdrop change
Now, what time of the year…
  • November 2008 : 17-28, with all sessions trying to be complete prior to Thanksgiving
  • December 2008: 22-Jan 2, with all sessions working around Christmas and New Year
  • March 2009: 23-April 3, no holidays to work around
  • June/July 2009: Unsure of dates at this time

Proof Books

Proof Books are now available. Choose from 4×5 or 4×6 size. They have my logo on the bottom right corner of each image and are bound with a clear cover and black backing. The Price is $75 for 30 images (minimum) and additional images are $4 each. There is a minimum purchase of $125 required before you may purchase the proof book. As with all portrait purchases, you are not allowed to scan, copy, reprint these images as stated in the session contract and policies.

If you would like to order a proof book from your past session in which you believe you may have met the requirement, please contact me. Here are some pictures of a 4×6 proof book.

Sweet Baby Boy

Little “Baby L” came in just under 4 weeks old as part of my Free Mini-Session Promo for Naval Hospital Oak Harbor (A Little Addition). He was so cute and perfectly quiet! Thank you for bringing him in! He was an angel!
