    After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

    Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

    If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

A 2nd Birthday Celebration… with Cake!

Sweet “G” didn’t get to come in and have her 1st birthday cake portraits done with me, so we made up for that with her 2nd birthday. She was a little shy during the first few minutes, but once she was given some different elements to play with, she was showing off. Every time the lights would flash, she would coming run up to me to see how she looked. And then I would encourage her to try again and we did that over and over! I normally wait for requests to do a Whimsical portrait (last image), but when I saw that image, I couldn’t help myself but to put something together.

Little “I” Celebrates The Big ONE!

I was having a ball with editing these proofs that I figured I might as well get the sneak peek up now. Yes, it’s a little after 1:00am, but hey – these are too cute not to share! I knew little “I” was gonna be fun and easy to work with as soon as I saw her! Mommy, Daddy & her two older sisters joined in for a family portrait first then we got rolling into the session. She didn’t care too much for the balloons after a while and took her sweet time to “digging in” to her cake. But by the end, that cake was a goner! “I” came in on her actual birthday, so for me, it was treat to be able to have the honor of photographing her 1st Taste of Cake!

One Big Happy Family

Thank you so much to the Stahl family for their patience! This is the 2nd set of proofs that were left untouched before I left on vacation. And as most of you know, when I returned I ended up getting sick which delayed editing for another 2 weeks. First is the more traditional portrait followed by the much more relaxed portraits! Normally I say STAY AWAY to t-shirts with words and logos, but it seemed to work perfectly this time!

Normally, only my newborn clients are offered a special discounted session fee & order discount for 1st birthdays!

But since my birthday is coming up and I LOOOOOVE these sessions, I am offering the special $20 session fee with 20% off your order for NEW CLIENTS with children whose birthday is after September 1st. (August is full, so I can’t accept any more, sorry)

From July 22nd through July 29th – send me an email at customers@reneegphotography.com with the subject “1st Birthday Newbie” with the following info:

  • Your Name
  • Home Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Child(ren)’s names
  • Child(ren)’s birthdate(s)

You will be sent an email confirmation of receipt with a special information packet with the discount coupon in the mail to follow.

Your child’s birthday must be after September 1st, 2009, no exceptions! The special rate is for multiples (twins, triplets, etc) as well!

Erica - Renee did my daughter’s 1st b-day pics. The only problem I had with her photos was trying to decide which ones to get because they were all so wonderful! She offers great collections and does beautiful collages and whimsical items. I couldn’t be more happy with them. And now I’ve decided to have her do my son’s school pictures this year. Like mentioned before, the busiest time of the year for me is right around the corner. Here are some important dates & info for the upcoming months. All is subject to change, and I will do my best to keep you all updated as needed.

Aug. 5 – 7: CLOSED

Aug. 18 – 23: CLOSED

Oct. 17: Fall Quickies Open House – $15.00 (plus tax)

  • Session Fee due upon arrival
  • 15 minute mini session
  • group (up to 5) OR individual
  • fall attire OR costume
  • one complimentary 4×6 (image of your choice)
  • Open from 11am – 5pm. RSVP only, no appointment necessary.

Nov. 14: Last day for sessions that are guaranteed to have prints delivered by December 18th.

Nov. 23 – 28: CLOSED

Nov. 30 – Dec. 18: Limited Availability

  • VIP Session Plan clients have priority for session dates. Only upon agreement that your proofs and/or prints may not be available until after January 4th.
  • Accepting maternity, newborns, baby milestone months (3,6,9) and/or 1st birthday  sessions only. 2 per week maximum. Only upon agreement that your proofs and/or prints may not be available until after January 4th.
  • Portrait Pick-ups appointments will be available up and until Dec 18th.

Dec. 19 – Jan. 4: CLOSED

Jan. 4 & beyond: At this time, we will reserve dates, but not taking deposits. We are active Navy and in our window for new orders in which we may be moving in March. We have requested orders that would keep us here, but do not know at this time whether they have been approved. We will keep you posted.
