After serving Oak Harbor since 2006, I have closed my doors officially. I am still on Whidbey Island, but no longer offering photography services or learning classes on a regular basis. I am only offering Preschool Portraits for Ms. Ashley's Preschool in the spring.

Past clients may be able to purchase digital images from their past sessions if they are still available on my archive drives. Contact me for more info.

If you are a photographer inquiring about the possible purchase of my props and/or backdrops, many of my items are listed on Facebook Marketplace. Feel free to contact me for direct links or to inquire about anything you see in y portraits that you are interested in to see if they are available.

Thank you for trusting me with your family portraits since 2006. I loved working with you all.

Beautiful Boys ~ Cousins

Oh gosh! While editing these proofs, my breath was taken from me over and over again! These little guys are gorgeous and full of personality! Little “A” (the cute blond) & his mom were visiting family here in Oak Harbor and came in with “X” the day before he headed back home to California. The last time I photographed “A”, he was in mommy’s tummy! That was about 3 years ago! “A” was a little shy throughout the session, but we caught so many great images that I had such a hard time choosing just a few to show. So here’s a little more than a few to give you a bit of how fun these guys were!

Just Visiting

1 year old “E” went on vacation with mom to visit family in California. Before heading back to Vermont, she decided to make a stop up here to visit friends and to visit me! Because of the travel & time differences, he fell asleep on the way to his session. And even though mom & I were unsure of how he would react to being woken up, we gave it try anyway! He just looked around, took a drink of some milk and was as happy as could be! He was great! Thanks for visiting “E” – it was lots of fun!

A Few Days Later…

After the family session was done, little “A” came to me this time for her 1st birthday portraits! Mom & I weren’t sure what to expect since her older brother’s session was quite memorable due to the fact that he wanted NOTHING to do with the cake and he didn’t crack one smile. But “A” is nothing like her brother! Although she was shy a few days earlier, she was sweet as can be and a joy to watch as her personality came out! There were so many images that I absolutely loved from this session. I struggled to pick a few, but here they are!

One of my Favorite Families

This family is pretty much apart of our family. We first met them when they hired me for big brother “E”‘s 1st birthday session which was 2 years ago. Since then, I have had the pleasure of photographing birthdays, holidays & newborn sessions. Little sister “A” was quite shy and wasn’t quite sure what I was doing in her home. She (like most children) didn’t really care for doing the family portraits. She just wanted to get up and play. But no worries, both kids did wonderful and I loved doing this on-location session!

Not Just Clients…

But my friends… We met this sweet family over a year ago. Both mom & dad were active Navy (dad still is, mom’s getting out soon) and they wanted a few pics done before daddy went on deployment. Little guy “C” was about 7 months old at that time. A few months later, pregnant mommy & little “C” returned for his fun 1st birthday session .

But we didn’t get the opportunity to introduce his little sister “A” with a newborn session in November due to the hectic holiday season. Unfortunately,  “A” was admitted into Children’s Hospital on New Year’s Eve. She was having complications with breathing and that hit my husband & I like a bowling ball to the stomach. She had so many tests done and so many scary moments within the 4 weeks of being in the hospital. It was finally determined that she had Bronchiolitis, required oxygen, medication & time for her immune system to develop and she was soon sent home.

Today, you would never know she had anything wrong. She’s healthy & happy! This session was a gift that has special meaning. Another little miracle has walked (okay – crawled) into my home and I’m so glad that I have been able to develop a relationship with her family. I look forward to her first birthday and many more after!
