I was asked to do portraits of and in the nursery for this session. It was fun to see and capture all the little details. Mama’s sister was visiting from out of state and painted this little guy’s nursery with Dr. Seuss’s cotton-like trees to go with his theme. A “Cat in the Hat” doll was also included along with books and knock-knacks.
Once we were done in the nursery we headed outside for a just a few more images of mama. We literally went around the corner where there was some shade, evergreens, tall grass and two cherry trees that had blossomed. I had scouted the area when I first received the inquiry and am so glad we didn’t go anywhere else. Although at first glance it looked kind of plain, it was perfect for portraits. A big thanks and shout out to mama’s sister who was my awesome reflector assistant!
