Every year, these girls come visit my in October to get their annual portraits done. We usually do them in the studio but this year we went for something outside. We headed to a farm on the south end of Whidbey Island after watching the weather and waiting for day without rain. Although mom didn’t really ask for a Christmas-themed set, she was gracious to let me give it a try so I could get some samples for mini sessions coming up.
With the chill in the air and the wet grass, the girls were great. We did have a few moments of needing a break and recomposing, but considering all the factors, I was so happy with it all.
