A Different Kind of Newborn, A Puppy

A very good friend of mine just got herself a new puppy. She drove from Oak Harbor, WA to Hayden Lake, Idaho – about 6 hours away to pick up this sweet little guy from a breeder (Bernese of Moose Crossing). I jokingly suggested we do some “puppy pics” and then quickly realized that I really wanted to do them! So, she brought him in 2 days after they got home. He is 7 weeks old and was so fluffy and soft! He was quite shy at first, somewhat like a toddler. Soon he began to do as most children do, run away. He wasn’t too sure about this whole “photo” thing. A while later, became very sleepy and so we turned down the lights and sure enough, he fell right to sleep. And with that, his mama was able to move him from prop to prop, moving his arms and legs as needed. Such a cutie! And I really enjoyed this session!
