She came in a little shy and unsure and then sprouted into a social butterfly. Though she had no wings, we sprang back and forth from chair to chair, prop to prop. She was always sure to go back to mom to get her snuggles and continuous approval. And even when it came time for her cake, she continued to share with her mom the experience of cake between her fingers and kisses laced with icing. She didn’t say much during the cake portion, her mouth was full the entire time. She quietly poked at the flowers and polka dots and then swooped them into her mouth. And when she was done, she just got up and plopped down on mom’s lap. She has quite the personality and I had so much fun watching her enjoy that cake.
