After discovering that the original park we wanted for this session had closed off access to their docks, we had to decide on the spot what to do. Mom wanted a little bit of beach and a little bit of fields so we headed to Joseph Whidbey State Park. Everything started out great, until our trail was longer than expected and I got a little turned around. With the sun and warm weather, both mom & I’s allergies began to chime in and so we quickly headed out of the fields were in. We headed to the beach to find the tide was in. This left us with little to no sand. But we made the best of it and got some great images.
